Here is a little history on us.. We are Jack & Helen Hopkins and live in Blythe, Ga.,which is a small town on the outskirts of Augusta, GA..
We have been breeding boston terriers since (1992) and have had a boston since (1988) . We do try and breed as close to the standard of the breed as we possibly can.
We started showing in conformation in 1996 and have loved it , since we are not that experienced in showing and cannot always go to the shows, we do use handlers, but we like to give it a try off and on, which I am very proud of myself since I have shown some of our bostons and helped put some of the points on a few of them, we are very proud of all our bostons that have completed their championships and hope to have more.
We got our start with breeding good quality bostons from Jim and Linda Alexander, he has given us lots of good advice and has been a great mentor to us. We have met lots of very nice people at the shows and they have given us great advice also and are very good friends.
They are home raised with lots of attention and socialization. Also started on their shots before leaving us. They are at least eight weeks and up before leaving us. We also start crate training them also We try to raise puppies so they will be easy to live with.
